Burch Creek Mercantile is a little old fashioned soda shop, ice cream parlor, and boutique. I have looked at this place every time I've driven by for several years. I decided to go there the other day because I wanted ice cream and it needed to be in Ogden to meet a friend. I was pleasantly surprised! It's adorable! The coupon was for a bogof regular sized ice cream. My friend got a green pineapple flavor ice cream in a waffle cone, and I got a Keebler flavored ice cream in a waffle cone. Spent about $4. Fun fact, they only serve Farr's ice cream, which is a Utah original.
Ran into a friend at Walmart on my way home from burch creek, and gave him a coupon for the Utah Shakespearean Festival. He's going in October some time, and I will follow up on it for this.
Famous Footwear had a coupon for get $10 off a purchase of $50. So here's the thing. I am a cheap person...I hate spending full price on anything retail. I go straight to clearance sections in every store. I bought two pairs of shoes this day, and almost didn't even get them because I thought the clearance prices were too expensive. But I splurged after much internal debate. So I got these (converse are my go-to shoes - fun fact, I have never paid full price for any of the converse I've bought. In fact, the last two pairs were less than $10 each!) for $39 (which is insane!) and these (heel was sensible, they are also very comfy) for $30. Add the coupon, the whole bill was $48. Which is pretty good considering how ridiculously overpriced they are just for the 'name'.
Spoon Me is a frozen yogurt shop. Frozen yogurt shops are everywhere these days! So you choose your yogurt, then choose what you want to garnish it. Spoon Me was different in that they let you choose four toppings, and that was included in the price. So no weigh-in stuff. The coupon was for a bogof medium sized yogurt cup. The Acai flavor was tasty. We got the two for about $3. Was a pretty good deal.
