Utah Olympic Park & Fuego Pizzeria

Fun Fact - Utah hosted the 2002 Winter Olympics! I was in 8th grade, and the whole junior high went to the main street to watch the Olympic torch run by...oh I mean, ride in the back of a truck by. Olympic Park in Park City, Utah is a very fun place! We used all 4 coupons that were in the book. During the summer, they have 2 zip lines open, tobogganing, and training with ski pool jumping. The coupons consisted of bogof Xtreme Zip Line admission, bogof Ultra Zip Line admission, bogof Quicksilver Alpine Slide, and bogof Guided Tour admission. Two people to do all four things is a $114 ticket. We payed $57 total, then that split between the two of us. Super great deal!

Some more fun facts!! The Xtreme Zip Line is the steepest zip line in the entire world. AND it was amazing!! On the guided tour we learned all about the park, bobsledding, luge-ing, skeleton-ing, K90 & K120 jumping, and so much more! The guide was a very animated, cross eyed man who has worked at the park for some 15 years. His name was Chris, and he told us that the EXTRA revenue from the Olympics was some $130 million dollars! Chew on this, everything they had built at that park was in the $20-$30 million dollar range, and they renovated hundreds of places/things to get Olympic ready. EVERYTHING is paid off with $130 million extra! That is insane.

To continue our day in Park City, we went to Fuego Pizzeria. The coupon was for $10 off a $30 purchase. The pizza was good, the dessert was even better! The owners daughter greeted us at the door and it was a pretty quite time of day for the restaurant. Which is what left me baffled at the terrible service we received. It was like the waiter was too busy (with what I don't know) to bother checking on us. Service bad, food good!
