Rainbow Gardens is sitting on the mountain at the mouth of Ogden Canyon. It is a big building with 4 gift stores, and a restaurant called The Greenery. Rainbow Gardens has three separate areas of gifts - one with over-priced quirky nick-knacks, one mostly out-door decorations, and a 'porch' with seasonal decorations and gifts. The coupon was for $5 off a purchase of $15+. Easy to do, and I found some good things to give people for Christmas!
In the same building, on the south end, is Planet Rainbow. It is also a gift store with over-priced quirky nick-knacks. They have a wide array of things, including Olympic souvenirs, US states things, Native American themed things, cooking, camping, Utah history, "Spiritual Room" (tarot cards, palm reading things, crystals), natural wonders of the area (the lake and minerals), knives and swords, and of course, your nook of Elvis and Betty Boop gifts. The coupon was $5 off a purchase of $15+. Once again, a purchase ticket that is easy to accomplish. Got a few gifts in there too :)
The place has been there since 1895, and has been 3 different resorts (different owners), and has been in the retail and restaurant since 1946. I would say it's a great place to take visiting older family - very pretty views of the valley and the mountain, and has an abundance of over-priced gifts older people love to give.
