Menchies & Pace's

Menchies is a frozen yogurt joint that looks like Hello Kitty threw up and decorated with it. It's a pretty standard frozen yogurt place (which are very 'in' in this area); mix any flavors and toppings you want, and then you pay based on weight. They have 8 different yogurt flavors, with a very big selection of toppings. They have the most toppings I've seen to date within the different places, including hot marshmallow topping! The coupon was for BOGOF frozen yogurt cup. The funnest thing about the place, was the spoons they gave...bright green or pink heavy duty spoons with the logo things head on top. Yes, I saved it and have used it again since!

Pace's Drive In is a local chain of burger fast food. Burgers, fries, onion rings, etc. The coupon was for a BOGOF menu item. We actually ended up getting some dessert! They had Brownie-A-La-Modes...which hello, happens to be my favorite thing. They were pretty tasty, better than what I was expecting. I also had a small, plain hamburger beforehand, and it was good - freshly cooked meat on toasted bun (Nothing exciting, I know, but you would be surprised (or not) how little effort most places put into a plain hamburger). The restaurant was nothing special, but had good, quick service, and decent food.
